Pamela and John have lived in their beautiful 1930’s home for over 15 years, and so this transformation was about more than just a kitchen renovation, it signified renewal, reorder and welcoming effortless functionality. Everything picked for this transformation was deliberate in expanding the area and celebrating the space. In short, we made a little room feel large.
It all began with a splashback…
Pamela had fallen head-over-heels in love with a Tiento Italia Grigio terrazzo and so this became our speckled starting point from which to grow, shape and bring the couples vision to life.
The starkly contrasting black-and-white colour scheme brings an air of elegance to this compact, contemporary kitchen - exuding spades of character while remaining timeless. With such a tight area, it was essential to maximise space in every way. Bulky pots are hidden behind Blum Antaro, soft close drawers, while utensils are neatly stacked in handy Blum compartment inserts for the ultimate organisation. So, it may appear minimal on the surface, but don’t be fooled. Cabinetry gives way to smart storage that makes cooking up favourite recipes a cinch.
