Welcome to the family

Unsurprisingly, our owner’s spirit-animal is probably a kitchen.

Jordan considers kitchen’s part of his make-up; from his roots as an apprentice for his parents over 20 years ago, to taking over and running the business with his wife Megan. Alongside his parents, Jordan has forged a path, and business, that he is truly proud of.

The diligent Wood Wizards team are the heart soul of our business. They’re a dedicated, talented, local bunch who will work closely with you from the moment you decide to build your dream kitchen. With a treasure trove of experience designing kitchens and living spaces, they’re choc-full of concepts that can be tailored to suit your identity and home.

From your Wood Wizards Showroom tour, to the final reveal of your kitchen or living space, we are available to hear about your plans, and honestly provide experienced solutions. We love getting things right, the first time around – so open channels of communication, and attention to detail, are what we train in and focus on, ensuring every element of your design is appropriate, appreciated and understood.

Our team will feel like family.

We’re always on hand to manage your end-to-end experience closely, whether it means multiple site visits to plan and conceptualise from within the space itself, or producing visual plans of the area to ensure the layout works for you and understand your perspective - our system works.

How you’ll meet our people through your kitchen journey...

We’re a tight-knit, devoted, enthusiastic team that you’ll get to know by name over the course of your project. But, before you do here’s a little bit of information so you can understand how we fit into the process. Jordan Corbett is our Head Designer and manufacturing genius. With over 15 years’ experience in the kitchen industry he will most likely be the one to organise a time to meet at your home. Jordan will help to unpack your dream kitchen - extracting your ideas, needs, practicalities and design style to create a beautiful, functional solution that not only meets, but exceeds your expectations. And perhaps most importantly, is in line with your agreed budget. We’re not in the business of selling dreams that aren’t achievable.

Now, if you’ve been to Wood Wizards before the chances are you’ve met our longest serving and dedicated Foreman, Darko. For more than 16 years, Darko has been producing quality kitchens and cabinetry for our wonderful clients across Melbourne. To ensure that your kitchen fits like a glove, Darko’s mission is to meticulously measure every nook and cranny to ensure the smooth delivery of your project - and there’s no-one we trust more with a tape measure. After all, his mantra is “measure twice, cut once”.

Jason is our Draftsperson and drawing custom kitchens and cabinetry is his specialty. Precision and accuracy drives Jason’s desire to turn our client’s vision into a reality. His attention to detail is unparalleled, and with a little wizardry he’ll transform your ideas or tweak any alterations to create the perfect plans, ready for production.

Jen is the office guru and you'll often hear her friendly voice on the end of the phone. Looking after all thing’s admin and finance, she’s always on hand to answer questions and guide you to the person best equipped to handle your query. From supporting the team in the showroom to working wizardry in the office, quite simply we don’t know what we’d do without her.

If I were a kitchen…

If I were a kitchen, I would be a Contemporary Kitchen.

In particular I love the rich tones and textures of timber and earthy colours; I feel like they make a home inviting and cosy. The advancements in materials these days also mean that you don't have to spend the world to get a kitchen that people will be blown away by.

If I were a kitchen, I would be a Shaker Kitchen.

Because this style offers a timeless design that can suit almost any home for a classic, contemporary or Hamptons feel – think light, bright, beachy and dreamy!

If I were a kitchen, I would be an Alfresco Kitchen.

Because I'm all about spending time outdoors with family and most of all - when it comes to food - big hearty portions of smoked BBQ meat.

Psst. In his spare time Darko is famous for smoking BBQ meat – pork ribs are his speciality and we can vouch for that!

If I were a kitchen, I would be a Contemporary Kitchen.

Because I love keeping up to date with the latest trends in everything from architecture to technology and a minimal style suits me down to the ground.

If I were a kitchen, I would be a Coastal Kitchen.

Because when I’m immersed in nature it is an invitation for me to slow down, relax and unwind in a beautiful place. Also ‘cause cool earthy tones and textures are my style.
