A Layout to Love | The ultimate contemporary kitchen
Helen and Dom's journey began with community pride and glowing online reviews. Motivated by local recommendations, their visit to our showroom set the stage for a transformation blending functionality and style, emphasising their desire to support a local business known for excellence.
Their old kitchen, though spacious, was inefficient, and definitely not worthy of Dom’s Italian heritage which craved an open, inviting space to lovingly craft family meals. Jordan's visit to their Black Rock home revealed something right away: potential. By removing an obstructive doorway, he expanded the room, enhancing the layout and increasing storage by the bucketload - making every inch count.
In the Wood Wizards showroom, Kirstin Sweet - our esteemed interior design consultant from Styled Haus - joined the project, ensuring material and colour choices aligned with Helen and Dom's overall vision. The selections, including Polytec Laminate in Classic White and Plantation Ash with Dorset handles in Raw American Oak and Matte Black, reflected their desire for a contemporary kitchen that oozed style, while still serving up a feast of functionality.
The new layout featured state-of-the-art appliances and hidden storage solutions, such as timber floating shelves and a sleek roller door system. Engineered timber flooring replaced old tiles, and The Porcelain Factory Enviro 12 Grigio Lassa Gold benchtops added luxury, brightening the room.
Practicality was paramount, with the couple’s culinary passion necessitating an ergonomically optimised space. NEFF Induction Cooktop & Rangehood, Blum TANDEMBOX antaro drawers and the Luxul Tambour Kitchen Roller Door System ensured ease in every corner of this kitchen. It became a hub of joy, creativity and togetherness, embodying their dream.
This renovation highlights the magic that occurs when client vision, expert design and skilled execution come together. Supporting a local business and finding a team that understood their needs resulted in a kitchen that is truly the beating heart of their home.
